On the Docket Special Publications for the October 2017 Term

On September 13, The George Washington Law School held a panel previewing some of the October 2017 Term’s cases. Panelists included Professors Jonathan Turley and Jeffrey Rosen from GW Law, Ms. Sherrilyn Ifill from the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, and Mr. Gregory Garre, former Solicitor General. The panel was moderated by GW Law’s Dean Alan Morrison. Panelists discussed the issues presented in Trump v. International Refugee Assistance Project, Gill v. Whitford, Epic Systems Corp. v. Lewis, Husted v. A. Philip Randolph Institute, and Masterpiece Cakeshop. Panelists also reviewed some of the cases pending a decision on petitions for certiorari.
